The hottest trend this year is in non-surgical butt lifts. We use the combination of the Ultherapy® Butt-Lift and Sculptra® Butt-Lift, however people may choose to use one or the other separately. Ultherapy focuses on tightening while Sculptra® focuses on augmentation through plumping up the buttocks for a more fuller shape. In one visit we can non-surgically create lifting AND plumping to the buttocks. Multiple visits may be needed for enhanced plumping effect depending on the individuals needs.
Q: What is the Non-Surgical Ultherapy® Butt-Lift?
A: Ultherapy is the only non-surgical treatment FDA-approved to lift the face, neck, and chest. It is also used off label on the body the way Botox is used in many off label indications. The Ultherapy Butt-Lift is a one time, no downtime procedure using focused ultrasound to lift the muscle and stimulate your body’s own collagen and elasticity resulting in a lift over the course of 90 days, that lasts a year.
Q: What is the Non-Surgical Sculptra® Butt-Lift?
A: The Sculptra® Butt Lift is the use of the Sculptra® injectable in the buttocks to restore lost volume, plum up flatness, for a more youthful full appearance. Sculptra® is the injectable of choice for non-surgical gluteal plumping that lasts 2 years.
Q: What is the Non-Surgical Brazilian Butt-Lift?
A: This is the combination of the Ultherapy Butt-Lift and Sculptra® Butt-Lift. Ultherapy focuses on tightening while Sculptra® focuses on augmentation through plumping up the buttocks for a more fuller shape. In one visit we can non-surgically create both lifting AND plumping to the buttocks.
Q: What are the surgical methods for a Butt-Lift?
A: There are 2 methods used for Butt Augmentation. The first is fat grafting (aka surgical ‘Brazilian Butt-Lift’) where you take fat from other places through liposuction, and then put it into the buttocks. The downside many people don’t know is that if you are too thin to have fat harvested from liposuction, then you are not a candidate. The other surgical method is butt implants where you take actual implants and insert them into the buttocks. Both have more risks, downtime, and cost more money than its non-surgical alternative options.
Q: What is the difference between using Sculptra® in the buttocks versus other fillers?
A: Sculptra® is best suited to this area because you can get a significant augmentation without using much product. Sculptra® is different in that it induces your own fresh collagen to grow around the product, from triggering an inflammatory response in your body, where hyaluronic acid-based fillers just pump more volume into your skin without the collagen stimulation. Sculptra® actually stimulates collagen in your skin for 2 years, and no other injectable can do that.
Q: Who is the ideal candidate for a Non-Surgical Brazilian Butt-Lift?
A: Anyone who is looking to go without a surgical intervention, like the traditional Brazillian Butt-Lift. To mimic the surgical procedure with non-surgical methods, The Non-Surgical Brazilian Butt-Lift is for those individuals who may have a more flat and sagging appearance in the buttocks, and desire a more toned, lifted, contoured and defined appearance to restore youth and shape,
Q: What’s the cost of the Ultherapy Butt-Lift?
A: The Ultherapy Butt-Lift ranges between $2500-3500 depending on the size of the area. To add Sculptra®, additional cost would be incurred depending on how many vials are used.
Q: How long has the procedure been around?
A: It is only within the last year has the protocol been perfected for this treatment.
Q: Is the Non-Surgical Butt Lift painful?
A: We use topical for the Ultherapy portion of the lift. Face should be a low pain level of 0-3 with an occasional spot being a 5-7, like on bony areas. On the buttocks it’s a low pain scale from 2-3 with an occasional 5+, and overall being very tolerable.
Q: How long does the procedure take?
A: The Ultherapy Butt-Lift takes about 90 minutes and The Sculptra® Butt-Lift takes another 30-45 minutes. In office time would be about 2.5 hours total if doing both same day.
Q: Are the effects permanent?
A; One Ultherapy session lasts a year. If you do it again in a year, you will get even more results as you have more “collagen in the bank” so to speak. Sculptra® injectable, if added, can take 1-3 sessions spaced 6-8 weeks apart and the effects can last 2+ years.
Q: What’s the down time and how soon can people return to regular exercise?
A: You will be slightly sore after. Some people are sore for days others for weeks, but very mild and only felt when touching. Exercise can be resumed next day post treatment.
Q: Does the technique actually lift and tighten the muscles or only the skin?
A: We are targeting both the muscle and the skin during the Ultherapy Butt-Lift, and just the skin on the Sculptra® Butt-Lift.
Q: How soon after childbirth can this be done? Is it advisable between pregnancies or should this be reserved for after women are finished having children?
You could start this 30 days post childbirth, and can definitely have it between pregnancies, as it is a subtle lift, and should be repeated yearly.
