You may have heard of platelet-rich plasma (PRP). While this treatment revolutionized the use of plasma therapy, it does not utilize all the available platelets or growth factors. Platelet-rich fibrin (PRF) uses a different method of separating and extracting platelets. As a result, PRF is richer in platelets than PRP. These platelets release growth factors that promote skin rejuvenation and stimulate collagen-producing cells. We offer ezPRF to provide a new type of plasma therapy experience.
During extraction of typical PRP, a sample of your blood is spun in a high-speed centrifuge to separate the plasma from the blood cells. This high-speed treatment can result in the loss of many platelets, however. Producing platelet-rich fibrin uses a lower centrifuge speed, leaving more platelets and other cells to use for treatment.
Platelet-rich fibrin also differs from PRP in that no anticoagulants are used. When producing PRP, an anticoagulant prevents the blood from clotting. When making PRF with no anticoagulants, the blood forms a clot that consists of fibrin, platelets, and other components.
We inject ezPRF, the Ultimate Blood Concentrate, into areas where you want to see smoother, more youthful-looking skin. Stimulating collagen and improving blood supply leave your skin looking softer and healthier. You will see increased fullness, smoothing of lines and wrinkles, and improvements in skin concerns, including dullness, and loss of firmness.
Platelet-rich fibrin can also be used to reverse early signs of hair loss and restore fuller hair. By increasing blood supply and growth factors to the scalp, hair follicles that had stopped producing hair can be revitalized.
Most people make good candidates for platelet-rich fibrin because it uses your own blood instead of synthetic treatments or fillers. Plasma therapy has widespread popularity in regenerative medicine, healing joint and muscle injuries, and stimulating hair regrowth. Its use in facial treatments expands every year. You may not be a good candidate if you have any clotting or bleeding disorders or if you are pregnant.
You may notice minor swelling or sensitivity that lasts a day or two. You may have some potential bruising, however a cannula is used which greatly reduces the risk. You can return to your usual activities after treatment. We always recommend sun protection since sunlight degrades collagen fibers.
ezPRF: This treatment takes platelet-rich plasma (PRP) to the next level using a customized centrifuge process that keeps more platelets, white blood cells, and stem cells. Since it uses no anticoagulants, fibrin in the blood can form a scaffold that controls the release of growth factors. If you have increased skin laxity, lines and wrinkles, or other signs of aging, ezPRF can stimulate collagen production for firmer, smoother skin.
ezPRF: You may have heard of PRP (platelet-rich plasma) for hair loss, but ezPRF, the Ultimate Blood Concentrate, offers even better results. The growth factors, white blood cells, and stem cells preserved with ezPRF encourage new blood flow to the scalp, rejuvenate dormant hair follicles, and let you regrow thick, healthy hair.
ezPRF: The Ultimate Blood Concentrate, ezPRF separates your blood with a low-speed centrifuge to preserve the maximum number of platelets, white blood cells, and stem cells. By avoiding anticoagulants, ezPRF allows the development of a fibrin scaffold that controls the release of growth factors. This treatment triggers collagen development to enhance facial volume and restore younger-looking facial contours.
ezPRF: This treatment spins a sample of your blood in a centrifuge at low speed to concentrate platelets, white blood cells, and stem cells. When injected, ezPRF triggers collagen production, firming and tightening the skin to reduce the appearance of undereye bags.
