The Alma Hybrid is the latest skin rejuvenation technology, and the most advanced resurfacing laser in the world. Hybrid is 50% more powerful than traditional CO2 models, while being a 50% faster treatment. Hybrid is the FIRST and ONLY laser to simultaneously combine both the CO2 laser and the 1570 wavelength laser all in one treatment, which combine for better results with less downtime. The Hybrid treats deep wrinkles, scarring, acne, rosacea, sun damage, texture, skin thickening/tightening and collagen remodeling.
Alma Hybrid CO2 is resurfacing/ablating the skin, removing degraded tissue and forcing new healthy tissue to grow in its place, while the 1570 is leaving the surface of the skin in place and delivering microbeams of energy deep into the dermis, to regenerate healthy tissue dramatically and quickly.
Across the country we have seen anyone from their early 20s all the way to their 80s get the Hybrid treatment. By customizing the setting we can treat a variety of skin concerns. From a simple “glow up” all the way to someone looking for very aggressive CO2 treatment.
During your consultation, your provider will assess your skin to personalize a treatment plan for you. Best results for refresh treatments are typically seen after 3 treatments, although for more aggressive treatments, noticeable improvements will be seen after 1 session.
For a full face resurfacing procedure we typically schedule an hour – this allows time for the application of topical anesthetic with the actual treatment taking about 15 minutes.
We have a 3 tiered approach to numbing to ensure you are comfortable and can drive home right after treatment. Many report feeling a warm prickly feeling in the treatment area during the session and a slight sunburn feeling for about 1-3 hours post treatment.
This will vary depending on the treatment plan our Skin Management Experts customize for you. You may experience a few days of mild to moderate redness, swelling, and slight flaking for a mild treatment. Or you may have a week or more of flaking, for an aggressive treatment.
