FACE is excited to bring a whole new dimension in treatment to the united states, called Jett Plasma Lift. Treatment with the new Jett Plasma Lift produces an immediately visible skin-tightening effect, while long-term dramatically improving fine lines and wrinkles, achieving great results without surgery. Plasma energy is the latest innovation to help people look years younger, and can be used on several areas including around the eyes for a non-surgical Blepharoplasty.
Jett Plasma Lift is the next generation technology for skin tightening, collagen production, wrinkle reduction, and elasticity improvement – especially in those areas where previously no effective non-surgical options were available. The Jett Plasma Lift is the only direct-current plasma medical device on the market, and it is used for a variety of skin treatments. Safe, effective and consistent plasma energy generates heat, warming the skin and producing a wide range of desired effects. Jett Plasma Lift is especially effective in “lifting” sagging upper eyelids. The skin around the eyes is very thin and will lose elasticity faster than the rest of the face. In addition, this same technology effectively treats stretch marks, skin lesions, scars, moles, fibromas, pigmentations and telangiectasis.
Some of the benefits of Jett Plasma over other plasma treatments include:
Candidates for Jett Plasma Lift are patients who wish to improve their acne, wrinkles, pigmentation or skin elasticity. With its variety of applicator heads, the Jett Plasma Lift can be used on the skin almost anywhere on the body, but the exciting part is that it can be used on the area around the eyes, especially sagging upper eyelids.
You are not a candidate for Jett Plasma Lift if you have any of the following:
After a local anesthetic cream is applied to the treatment area the patient experiences some heat sensation from the plasma energy, but it is very tolerable. This energy stimulates lax skin to contract, producing collagen and elastin and has an overall rejuvenating effect. A cascade of physiological processes occur that results in the cell membranes tightening. The contraction of the skin is immediately visible to the naked eye. This treatment does not involve any cutting, injecting, burning, or removal of skin or tissue. It is particularly good at working on small areas of heavily lined skin such as upper and lower eyes, wrinkles over the mouth, wrinkles on the chin, smile lines, frown lines, and neck areas.
Most Jett Plasma treatments take between 20 minutes and one hour. This varies widely depending on the size and number of treatment areas. Local anesthetic cream is used during the procedure so the pain from the treatment should be minimal. The healing process can cause some mild discomfort but over-the-counter pain relief can be taken to help.
The Jett Plasma treatment produces instant contraction of skin fibers and this process continues to take effect from the first 2-4 weeks up to 3 months. The effect of the treatment directly correlates to individual genetics, skin health, and to the number of treatments. If done correctly the effects can last 2-5 years. You will age as you would normally and your skin will continue to loosen and relax as part of the aging process. Future maintenance of the treated area should be discussed with our Skin Management Experts™ as everyone’s skin is different.
For the silver tips, there are no side effects or downtime. For the gold tips, if added, there can be mild swelling for approximately two to four days post-treatment that can be significant enough to warrant social downtime. Light crusting and discoloration may be present for 3-5 days. This can be covered by makeup after 24 hours. There is minimal discomfort afterward, but it isn’t significant. It feels like a mild sunburn. Skin contraction takes 1-6 weeks post-treatment and you will continue to see skin tightening and improvement as time passes.
It is required that all of our prospective patients have a face-to-face consultation prior to making an appointment for this procedure. During the consultation, we will discuss and analyze your areas of concern and discuss the range of treatment options available.
