A: SYLFIRM X is a new dimension in RF micro-needling and the first and only FDA-cleared
device of its kind to be multi-purpose, targeting vessels and pigment, in addition to texture, lines,
and pores for skin rejuvenation, that other RF micro-needling devices have been unable to
achieve thus far.
Energy is released into the device at 2MHz, through the 300 micron needle tips which are
able to target precise depth, for pigment, melasma and textural irrgularities. Sylfirm X can
penetrate the skin between 0.3mm to 4mm, making it able to work on the face as well as the
body.
With each penetration, the 300 micron needles remain in the skin for the optimal time required
to bring about an effect before any thermal damage can occur.
The emitted 2MHz strengthens and improves skin health by repairing damaged skin cells, blood
vessels, and remodels skin collagen through the increase in the production of collagen and
elastin.
The combination of PW waves and what called “the NA effect” ensures the selective coagulation
using bi-polar non-insulated needles for the treatment of damaged skin cells while maintaining
overall skin health.
This innovative device utilizes the world’s first and only dual wave (continuous wave and pulsed
wave) to effectively treat various indications; not only skin rejuvenation and scars, but also
pigmented and vascular lesions such as melasma, diffuse redness and rosacea that were
difficult to treat with conventional RF microneedling systems.
The microneedles of the SYLFIRM X are gold-plated and manufactured by a robotic system,
making the needles precise, elaborate and durable. Moreover, the needles are non-insulated.
According to the “Na effect”, heat begins at the tip of each needle and expands in the form of
water droplets when bipolar RF energy is delivered to the skin using non-insulated
microneedles. In other words, a very effective and more precise treatment, without the pain of
other RF micro-needling systems.
SYLFIRM is the world’s first and only 300μm targeted therapy to be performed. It has the ability
to get to a unique depth of 0.3mm or 300μm to target the papillary dermis (the upper dermal
layer) located just below the basement membrane, and is an important place for interacting with
the epidermis and senescent fibroblasts and type III collagen are largely distributed. The 300μm
targeted treatment minimizes procedural pain and downtime due to the relatively shallow depth,
but it efficiently treats lesions such as aging related pigmentation, collagen remodeling.
Mopreus8 is the gold standard RF micro-needling in the world for advanced skin
rejuvenation, including scars, deep lines and wrinkles, and skin tightening, with a depth of

Sylfirm X is uninsulated energy and Morpheus is both uninsulated and insulated, with each
having varying depths. They are both apples to oranges in terms of targets and results. Both are
needed if you want to get everything covered in your skin from texture, tone, wrinkles, and
tightening.
Sylfirm X’s innovation of the RP (repeated ultra-short pulse) micro-needling technology
makes it such that Sylfirm X reacts to ONLY abnormal blood vessels and tissue to selectively
treat increased pigmentation and vascular lesions—it is the only RF micro-needling device

Melasma.
Moreover, Sylfirm X's Pulsed Wave Mode is made such that an effect termed as NA Effect is

or more may be needed.
You can expect little to no downtime with Sylfirm. People may see some redness and light
flushing but they will still be able to proceed with daily activities. However, no sweating or sun
the same day after treatment, and always use SPF when outside.
Everyone is a candidate for Sylfirm X, including all skin types, and ethnicities, however, if you have a
metal allergy you would, unfortunately, not be a candidate for Sylfirm X.
